We had some tiny helpers in the classroom this week! 🎀🧸

Our students practiced conducting hearing screenings, including otoscopy, and to practice making the process more kid friendly, they performed them on real kids! 👂

The students explained instructions in a kid friendly way, and each group ensured that it was fun and motivating for the child in a different way.

Our students got to take a break from the classroom today and kicked off AAC class by taking the devices out into the community!

The students used AAC as their primary form of communication while talking with friends, ordering food, asking for directions, and more. They then reflected on their experience using AAC, talking to someone who uses AAC, and other people’s reactions.

Pictured are some of our first- and second-year graduate students at their spring 2026 clinical placements. They have shown incredible dedication, compassion, and growth throughout this semester.

A special congratulations to our second-year students as this was their last clinical placement! They will graduate next Saturday, such an exciting and well-earned milestone!🎓 So proud of all they have accomplished and can’t wait to see where their journey takes them next.💛💙
