LOVE LETTER TO CHI O 💌💘 ft. our very own model initiate, !!! Hear from Remy about what XO means to her!

“From the moment I stepped into the yellow cottage, I felt an overwhelming sense of comfort and belonging. Every conversation left me feeling encouraged, valued, and inspired. Rather than draining my energy, the women I met filled my cup and made me feel seen for exactly who I was. There was an authenticity in every interaction that made it easy to be myself. Somehow, despite having just met them, it felt as though I had known these women for years. After opening my bid, I knew this was where I was meant to be. However, the feeling was confirmed after I saw president dettwiller running around in a Ronald McDonald costume.

Chi Omega quickly became more than just a chapter to me it became a home. The friendships I have formed here are some of the most meaningful relationships in my life, and the memories I have made will stay with me long after my college years. I’ll never forget the call where I was named Fireside’s 2025 model initiate. Looking back, I cannot imagine my college experience without Chi Omega, and I am endlessly grateful for the sisterhood, opportunities, and sense of belonging it has given me.”

“Growing up with a sister I always had the built in sisterhood that everyone talks about in sororities. I knew coming into college that I wanted to find friends that felt like sisters to me so I signed up for recruitment. I was a bit unsure of if I truly wanted to be in a sorority but once I joined Chi Omega I met so many amazing girls that I wouldn’t have other wise. When Hailey went through recruitment a year later I knew I wanted her to find the same thing for herself. When she joined Chi O at UK I was so excited that she would be a part of the same sisterhood I was even at different schools. Little did we know she would end up transferring to UC and becoming a part of the same amazing chapter of Chi O I was! I’m so grateful for how it all worked out and that we ended up together as sisters x2!”

“This past semester, having Gracie in Chi Omega has been such a blessing. After transferring, I was nervous about stepping into a new chapter, but having her right by my side made everything feel so easy. I’ve always looked up to her and admired all the things that make her who she is, and it’s so special to see those same qualities reflected in every girl in this chapter. I truly feel like I’ve gained 100 sisters for life, and getting to be sisters with Gracie twice over makes it even more meaningful. It still amazes me that we both chose Chi Omega at different schools and somehow ended up together in the same chapter!”

As our girls prepare to walk the stage, we’re reminded just how much they’ve shaped our chapter. They are our best friends, sisters, bigs, and everything in between. Words truly can’t capture how much these women mean to us or the impact they’ve had on every single one of us.

With formal right around the corner, it’s only fitting to do a with our AMAZING social director, .poulos from PC ‘24! 🩵🕺

“Hi!! My name is Sammie Poulos and I am serving as Chi Omega Pi Alpha’s Social Director! This position has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my time in Chi O. This role is so fun because it gives me the chance to plan events that bring people together, create lasting memories, and strengthen relationships within our chapter. Being behind the scenes and seeing everything come to life has made me appreciate how much effort and care goes into building such a supportive community. Outside of Chi O, I am a second-year student studying health sciences on a pre-PA track and I work as a nurse aide at an infirmary. Joining Chi O has been one of the best decisions I’ve made, and the opportunity to be Social Director has allowed me to form deeper connections with so many girls. It has truly brought me closer to the chapter by allowing me to contribute in a meaningful way while growing as both a leader and a friend. I can’t wait to see what next semester has in store!”
