Thank you to all of the Divine 9 members who came out to support the Lighthouse Youth & Family Services Founders’ Celebration and President (Bro.) George Guy of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc..

Fifty‑seven years ago, a small group of visionary Black leaders from the Cincinnati Baptist Women’s Fellowship saw a need—and took action. They created a program offering shelter, training, and counseling for girls leaving juvenile detention. From that powerful beginning, Lighthouse has grown into a comprehensive support network for youth ages 0–24 and their families. Today, the organization provides mental and behavioral health care, foster care, emergency shelter, youth housing, community juvenile justice services, and so much more.
Lighthouse Youth & Family Services, continues to honor the legacy of the founders by continuing their mission of offering hope, support, and new beginnings to young people in need.
