Elite Welding Academy was founded in 2006 by United Group Services, one of Cincinnati's biggest and most successful mechanical pipe contractors. United Group Services realized the shortage of skilled pipe and structural welders so they started Elite Welding Academy to help prepare themselves and their students for the future. Elite Welding Academy provides career-focused, hands on programs with in

dustry experienced instructors. Students that put forth the dedication and commitment to excel will leave with the knowledge, skills and attitude essential for a successful career in welding.

Instructor John was working with a student on a 2G carbon stick pipe weld when he noticed the student was burning away from the bevel wall with the fill pass.

John stepped in to show a more effective way to fill the joint—helping preserve the top level and create a cleaner, more suitable surface for the stringer cap.

This is just one example of the precision, attention to detail, and hyper-focus we strive for at Elite Welding Academy.
