Hi everyone!!!!
Any soccer game fans⚽️⚽️, out there?? Check out the OSA soccer team🇴🇲🇴🇲 news!!

The Omani team continued its road to success on Monday night where they beat the “Woody Wednesday” team 4 - 2 , at Gettler Stadium. The first half ended 2 - 0 for our team scored by Hatim Alkindi. The teams were tied 2- 2 at the beginning of the second half, but the Omani team took the lead again and scored two more goals by Abdullah Alsubhi. Good luck for the team in next games.

Hello OSA's Friends!

Here is a summary of the Omani Students Association's Recent Meeting!!

The things that has been discussed on September, 22, 2018:

1. Have less frequent meetings for the general members but still have the regular board meetings (all members are welcome if they have any ideas for future events) .
2. Properly finance funds of the organization so that it runs smoothly .
3. Participate in "Oman Award" where if we win, we will receive a cash award that will go to the budget for next year .
4. Make sure all Omani scholars joined the organization on CampusLINK .
5. ncrease social media activity whether it be on Instagram, Twitter, or YouTube .
6. Make sure you RSVP to OSA events as credits will be given to those who attend .
7. Have more events that involve fun activities as opposed to extremely informative ones .
8. Have competitions whether they are related to sports, cultures, or gaming . The winners will receive small awards from OSA .
9. Reschedule a meeting to discuss the Omani National Day .
10. Find a new hall to have the Omani National Day celebration .
11. Look into being able to have a mascot that represents Omani students at UC .
12. Look into having the Omani Channel broadcast the National Day event on National TV
13. Make sure you have ideas for the National Day celebration by the next OSA meeting .

Omani women's day is celebrated annually on the 17th of October (in Oman). This celebration started in 2009 as an acknowledgment to the importance of the Omani woman nationally and internationally. On this day we all celebrate the significant role of Omani women not only in the social achievements, but also in the development of Oman's economy and as unique individuals who lead with wisdom.

As the OSA in Cincinnati, we want to show you how the Omani woman is appreciated as a student and an individual in this video!!

Omani Students Association at University of Cincinnati while celebrating Mother's Day!!

OSA made interviews with some UC students asking them to talk about their feelings toward their mothers and what "mom" means to them.

The first Fun Saturday Night was a hit or at least that is how I see it. A bunch of beautiful people gathered to share an awesome night full of some "friendly" competitions. It is true there was a prize for the winners of the competitions, but the ultimate prize is at the end having something close to a family to share the good moments with. Thanks for all who participated, and to those who did not win, there is always next Saturday.
