University of Cincinnati New Student Orientation By participating in Bearcat Bound Orientation, new students will be better prepared to begin their academic careers at the university.

The University of Cincinnati New Student Orientation Office is committed to providing programs that will aid and facilitate the transition of our new students and their family members into the University of Cincinnati. At every event we strive to make new students and their family members feel welcomed and appreciated, while promoting and exposing new students to the array of intellectual, cultura

l and social opportunities offered to them at the University of Cincinnati. The Bearcat Bound Orientation program will also provide programs and information to families to assist them in their transition into and their engagement within the University of Cincinnati community.

Here it is! Your Guide for New Students on how to make their orientation successful ❤️🐾☀️ This will go over “What to Bring”, “Parking”, “Check-In”, and “Tips”.
 
What to Bring: It’s important to come prepared, make sure to bring comfortable shoes and a water bottle for the long day. Depending on the weather you may need to bring an umbrella, a hat, or sunscreen. To take notes, feel free to bring a notebook and to login to UC websites bring a device (a mobile phone works). 
 
Parking: Some options for Campus parking include Calhoun Garage, Corry Garage, Campus Green Garage, and Woodside Garage. For Maps, check the UC Parking Services website. 
 
Check-In: Check-in will be in Tangeman University Center in the 3rd Floor Atrium. It will open at 8:00 AM, with the Welcome Session starting at 9:00 AM.
Check your UC email to learn how to begin Check-In on your mobile device.
 
Tips: Before coming to orientation, here are some important tips!
✔️Submit your Bearcat Card picture through your Bearcat Portal.
✔️Complete your tasks in your Bearcat Portal, especially the PEQ and PSA.
✔️Prepare any questions you may have and continue to check your UC email for any updates.
