The MAICS conference traditionally serves as a small but vital forum in all areas of Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Science and Computational Intelligence, including Fuzzy Logic, Computational Linguistics, Brain Computing, Automation, Reasoning, Recognition, Learning, and Philosophy of Mind. The main goal is to promote our fascinating sciences and engineering to the next generation -- young re
searchers and students. The facts that usually only a limited number of papers are accepted and well established scientists give plenary lectures make this conference a very special event. In addition, we often organize promotional events for undergraduate students interested in Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science. In recent years MAICS has also attracted a significant interest from international participants. Papers in all areas of Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science are invited. Submitted papers may present significant final results or describe interesting research in progress. All submitted papers are peer reviewed for the proceedings publication and conference presentations. Graduate students and junior faculty are especially encouraged to submit papers for stimulating and exchanging ideas.
