Xavier University Theatre

Xavier University’s theatre program combines practical experiences and professional collaborations with a rigorous and diverse curriculum.

In addition to a strong foundation of theatre courses, the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre offers students the opportunity to focus in either the area of performance or design and technology. The program prepares students for professional experience outside of Xavier by fostering a practical, cross-cultural and student-oriented curriculum.

Xavier Theatre's production of THE GUYS, commemorating the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, opens in less than a week! Join us September 10-12 when some of our incredible alumni, like Sean Moss, launch our new season with this powerful play. Sean plays the character of Nick, a NYC fire captain who seeks help to write eulogies for the men lost in his unit. Ticket link can be found in our bio.

In the days after the attacks on September 11, 2001, a New York City fire captain seeks help from a writer to create eulogies for the firefighters lost in his unit. As they share stories of courage, humor, and everyday life, the men behind the uniforms come vividly to life, and an unexpected friendship begins to form.
