TRULY TRULY very cool to see everyone this past weekend for our 35th College Reunion. ... 35 years since we graduated. Everyone is doing so well !

Using the term 'everyone' -> I mean the 59 people ( my count from various pictures beyond the attached ) in attendance to celebrate one/both nights. Sure, Xavier was glad to have you back, but your Friends were stoked to see you & reminisce. For the weekend we spent together, I heard only 1 unexaggerated story - how perfect is that ! WE had 58 4.0grade-pt graduates :). WE had 57 perfect class attendance .... rephrase --> 57 perfect attendance 1-day back in 1986 :) . We had 56 ... well, you get the picture ...

Thanks to each of you for coming to town, for coming to the game, for hanging out, for the good-times !! I'm already looking forward to the 40th.

Grab a seat - this is a bit lengthy

Hello Class of '89
35 years apart for many of us, but now have 1 week left to gather pictures, recount memories, fix that worn belt (for some :) ), and come prepared to smile, laugh, enjoy and TOAST how a school like ours shaped us into 50-somethings leading FAITH-filled families and successful personal careers. That Francis-guy with the on campus statue :) would be very proud of how you have turned out. Come take a picture with him next weekend. ( I'm going to H*ll for that comment aren't I ?)

Oh, speaking of next weekend, Xavier said they are prepared for the '89'rs. It all starts on Friday the 8th in the late afternoon.

If (and hopefully you are) attending MBB-game, it begins at 6pm so plan accordingly for traffic around campus along with a good walk to The Cintas Center --> plus you want to arrive real early to shop for new SWAG at the AFO-stores ... STRONG rumor floating with bigtime promos, and discounts President Jackson would like (not allowed to say the sales amounts but Jackson is on the cash we had to carry back in the 80's). Arrive, park, eat, and spend all before a D1 game.

We need you at the game 'cuz that Francis-guy I mentioned has asked 10,000 fans to honor the '89'rs while they stroll across the hallowed hardwood at halftime. Remember that belt inspection - this is where you get tested while waving and parading to Muskies Past, Present, and Future :) It will be fun - BTW, told our class members --> not families, neighbors, customers, pets, etc .

Post-game Musketeer Bash on campus for our class (and others). We have a set-up for the '89'rs to enjoy Music - food - drinks and some free stuff. The Bash will be a good start to the weekend so hope you can stop by. As always, the night will not be complete without a visit to Danas - Let the Stories Fly !~!

So Saturday arrives and you are amazed by your campus' transformations. Want to see more ? behind the scenes? We have a class-of-89 tour lined up for a Cintas Center Private Tour at 1:30. Not sure if Tyrone Hill or Byron Larkin or Micheal davenport will be around ... but i'm trying. Could Bob Koester be there ? we'll see. Anywhooo .. work on your lay-ups in case there is a boys against the girls game :)

Saturday join us at 1:30 at the Cintas Center backstage tour.

Saturday evening will be a FUN gathering over at the new FACTORY 52 not too far from campus in Norwood Ohio ( 4590 Beech St, Norwood, OH 45212 ) .
We will be set-up in FRETBOARD BREWING at 7pm .. look for the balloons. Should be a great set-up for us with plenty of inside/outside space, drinks, and I'll have some food to keep you from becoming HANgry. ( no snicker bars ). Close to campus, plenty of parking, several bars and food options - should be great. Of course, the night will likely carry us back to Danas which is not too far away.

Nothing is planned for Sunday, but that will change among smaller groups .

WOW -- we are less than 1-week away from our Xavier University 35th Reunion Weeekend November 8th-9th-10th.
I hope to seee you there !!
I have worn this 'momento' on my hand for the past 3+ decades and it seems to have held up rather well - better than the rest of me somedays :)
It was once shiny, but the 'wears&tears' are what make it special to me.

Ok, I know ... it does not feel like 35+ years ago when each of us were wreaking havoc on various dorm floors, or playing football in the snow at midnight , or forming Spring Breakaway Teams thinking you were going to beat my team ( :) ) .... but it was ... and you are now ITCHING to set the truth straight among friends in November.
This lovely snapshot was from our class gathering 10 years ago ( for the accountants, that was our 25th :) ). No -> you have not changed at all !! 57's are the new 30's !
This also gives you a chance to see what you wore last time so you can buy something new - you're definitely young & trendy :)
See you on November 8th , but stay for the whole weekend.

Class of 1989 -
The Gardens is where we used to go to watch games.
But 35 years later,
you'll be enjoying a game with friends at The Cintas Center Friday Night November 8th.
I'm working on a block of tickets so let me know how many you will need.
Just so you'll feel at home -> the seats might be close to the former Woods Bar now located on the top floor at the Cintas Center -> it only accepts IDs from the last century :):)

My email listing is well short of all our classmates so I'm counting on you to spread the word among your close-knit friends. I'm really looking forward to seeing all of you and raising a toast to a University so special to have help make us all productive members of society with an open hand to help, an open mind to think, and hopefully an open wallet to pay the tab :) -- just kidding. two-outta-three ain't bad.

WELL HELLO Classmates !
For some, it's been 35years since we have been together ( toooo long - so let's change that ! )
For some, it's been 5 years since we have been together ( time flies so let's do it again in November on Campus ! )
For some, it's been less than 5 years since we have been together, but now we HAVE A REASON :)
and, for some, it's been 5 minutes since we have talked/gotten together -> so I expect to see you at this Walk Down Memory Lane in November.

The Muskie Class of 1989 was truly special ! So many success stories on so many levels !

Let's get together November 8th for the weekend to kick off where it all began.
39years ago we met , but 35 years ago we shared a special day and you have been begging people to listen to your stories ever since -- This upcoming weekend was built for your stories ( the more embellished the better :) ). So gather your stories, scan those Kodak pics, try on your 1989 SpringBreakaway T-shirt, put that ID card in your wallet, and pack up for a trip to Victory Parkway . It's only 14 weeks away so I need your involvement.

Here's the big-picture plan -
-- Arrive Friday late afternoon to hang at the pregame tent party on campus ... Attend MBBall game Friday night -- time TBD(sorry). Do you need tix ?? post-game is a given -- no further discussion needed :)
-- Saturday-day can hang with close friends and come to campus for a 1989-tour ( some behind the scenes stuff in the works ) -- planned for early afternoon -- time TBD
-- Saturday early evening will be a 1989 class party at FACTORY-52 located in Norwood and not too far from campus/hotels/etc ... several eating/drinking establishments which we'll have pre-arranged once we get some broad-attendance numbers. last call will likely be that place ... you know, that place that created more friends, more headaches, more memories than 'Down Under' :) ... that place called Dana's but we'll see how the night shapes up.
-- Sunday has nothing planned, but that will change as the weekend gets going :)

Anywhooo , can you help me with the following:
-- FYI: I BCC'd this email as I can't release all the addresses. But please feel free to reply with names/emails so we do not leave anyone out.
-- Please forward this email to your close friends from our class to ensure they are aware and coming to Cincinnati
-- Can you please reply with your thoughts on coming ( yes, no , maybe ) plus1 ? This helps with planning for Saturday's events
-- there will be NO powerpoint presentations but drinking toasts are encouraged !
