2020 UC Upward Bound Alumni Association and Networking Reception

Hello UC Upward Bound Alumni:

Thank you again for attending the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the UC Upward Bound Program! It was great to see everyone again after so many years.

Many of you recommended that we continue the momentum of the Celebration by meeting every year or two to remain in contact. It was suggested that we formally start a UC Upward Bound Alumni Association to not only keep in contact, but to develop a speakers’ bureau, develop business connections, assist our students in finding internships, scholarships, mentorships, jobs, etc.

Therefore, we have organized a UC Upward Bound Alumni Association and Networking Reception to discuss the possibilities:

Saturday, April 4, 2020
2:00-6:00 pm
UC Clifton Campus
Teachers Dyer Complex
Room 407, Annie Laws Drawing Room
$30.00 per person
alumni.uc.edu/UpwardBound

There will be food, music, giveaways, fellowship, and networking—opportunities to share your business or profession with others.

Therefore, please make sure that you bring at least 100 business or professional cards to distribute.

We will also honor Mr. Philip Cathey, UC Upward Bound Director Emeritus, who retired in November 2019.

Please register here as soon as possible:

I challenge every UB graduation class to encourage your former classmates to come out, especially those who missed the 50th UB Anniversary in May 2019.

Please contact me at 513-556-1629 or at [email protected] if you have any questions or suggestions.

See you soon!

Cynthia Partridge, Ph.D.
