"It is an honor to honor Dr. Jerry Dodson." These words were spoken by College President Dr. Thad Anglin at a retirement reception Friday at the Conrad Hilton Center in Cisco in celebration of Dr. Dodson's 28-year career at Cisco College.

Dr. Dodson served as Vice President of Student Services, and in recent years also served as Athletic Director. Many family members, friends, and colleagues attended the reception, as well as members of the college's Board of Regents.

"I will still be visible," Dr. Dodson told the group. "I'll be attending games." Dr. Dodson expressed appreciation to everyone he has worked with and concluded with heartfelt words directed toward his wife, children, grandchildren, brother, and other family.
