College of Emergency Services Continuing Education · Paramedic Training It was founded in their basement by Greg Lorts MD. In the late 1990s the College opened its doors in Washington.

The College of Emergency Services began at Providence Portland Medical Center as Paramedic Training Institute in the late 1970s. In the late 1980s the College changed hands and names becoming what it is know as today: College of Emergency Services. In 2006 CES entered into it’s current management agreement with NCTI. We are known in the community as NCTI or CES. We offer EMT Basic, Anatomy P

hysiology, Pharmacology and Paramedic Courses in our Oregon campus. Continuing Education is also offered through our institution, mostly AHA courses (BLS, ACLS, PALS), PHTLS and AMLS.
