Claremont Women in Business expands opportunities for diverse people on campus, focusing on people who identify as women, in the professional workplace. It aims to help them become successful leaders in businesses ranging from fashion, environment, and STEM to finance, accounting and entrepreneurship. It provides resources to develop professional networks, similar minded women to help empower and
gain skills to overcome challenges women face in business. Events throughout the year include skill-based workshops, leadership conferences, internship opportunities, mentorship, speaker series, panels and more. The group also hopes to start and run its own business in order to fundraise for events, gain first hand experience, and apply mentor advice.
