Meet Mya Lee, a PennWest Clarion environmental science honors student who is gaining hands-on experience in wildlife conservation through her internship at Stormy Oaks Nature Conservancy – Wildbird Recovery. Mya spends her days caring for resident birds, rehabilitating injured wildlife, and learning firsthand what it takes to support conservation efforts.

In this video, Mya shares how the internship has strengthened her passion for wildlife conservation, provided valuable career experience, and deepened her understanding of the natural world.

Clarion women’s soccer swept the first PSAC West weekly awards of the season.

Ciara DiMauro earned Athlete of the Week honors after helping lead the Golden Eagles to a 2-0 start, while Sage Sherk claimed Defensive Athlete of the Week after recording six saves and a shutout. Congratulations, Golden Eagles!

Clarion returns six of its top seven finishers from last season, led by All-PSAC performer Abigail Butera, along with Emmy Davis and Raechel Braun. With a strong core back and the season opener set for Sept. 5, the future is bright for Clarion women’s cross country.
