American Library Association Student Chapter at Clarion University Welcome to the ALA Student Chapter at Pennsylvania Western University of Pennsylvania!

The purpose of this page is to provide an ongoing social forum for the local student chapter of the American Library Association at Pennsylvania Western University. Faculty, officers and members shall use it to acquaint each other with the goals and objectives of the ALA and the ALA Student Club through the encouragement of developing professional contacts within the field of librarianshi

p, both at PennWest and elsewhere, and actively promote the involvement in professional activities beyond the classroom. This page shall also provide an avenue for communication between members and officers of the ALA Student Club, as well as general communication among the membership that includes social communications, topical discussions, and the pursuit of other kindred activities and service opportunities to the school and community.
