For today’s Spotlight, we feature APSU Greek Life and the Candlelight Ball tradition, "The Gov." Today, our greek community is comprised of 21 fraternities and sororities across four councils. With over 550 recognized members, our social fraternities and sororities collectively volunteered over 9,000 service hours and continuously strive to be leaders on campus and within the community. We encourage you to learn more about how you can get involved and be a part of this community that is focused on helping YOU "Define Your Experience."

What a cause for celebration! Two outstanding individuals from our community were honored as members of the year within their respective governing councils for the southeastern region of the US, during the Southeastern Greek Leadership Association annual conference. Aviana Parker, a member of Chi Omega and serving as Panhellenic President, earned the prestigious title of Panhellenic Council Member of the Year. Additionally, Juana Chavez Hernandez, President and founding member of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc., secured the esteemed recognition of Multicultural Greek Council Member of the Year. These remarkable accomplishments underscore the vibrant impact and importance of Austin Peay's Greek community.
