What an incredible Autism Week at Full Spectrum Learning!

We want to sincerely thank everyone who attended, supported, presented, volunteered, partnered with us, and helped make this week such a success. From our students and families to faculty, staff, community partners, and advocates, your presence and support meant more than you know.

Last week was about more than awareness. It was about connection, understanding, acceptance, and creating meaningful opportunities for students on the autism spectrum to be seen, heard, and supported.

We are proud of the conversations that were started, the stories that were shared, and the community that continues to grow around this important work.

Thank you for believing in our students and for helping us continue to build a campus and community where neurodiverse individuals can thrive.

We are already looking forward to next year!

What an incredible Autism Week!

We want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who contributed, participated, and showed up in support of our students. From conversations to events, every moment mattered—and it showed.

What we’re most proud of is this: we’re moving beyond awareness and into acceptance. Awareness starts the conversation, but acceptance creates real opportunity—and that’s exactly what we’re building together.

We’re also seeing this shift reflected far beyond our campus. Hiring initiatives for individuals on the autism spectrum have grown significantly in recent years, with major employers expanding neurodiversity programs and recognizing the value of different ways of thinking. Studies have shown that teams inclusive of neurodivergent individuals can be more innovative, productive, and detail-oriented—and organizations are finally starting to act on that.

This is progress. Real progress.

Thank you for being part of it, for believing in our students, and for helping create a community where they don’t just belong—they thrive.

Full Spectrum Learning was proud to present at the Ziegler Leadership Forum at Austin Peay State University.

Dr. Jena Collins, Hailey Mason, and Jessie Meehan led a dynamic session on Music-Based Strategies for Well-Being, Connection, and Emotional Regulation.

Their presentation explored how music can be a powerful tool for building leadership skills through active participation and engagement. They highlighted the natural leadership qualities found in musical experiences and shared how these strategies can be used ethically and effectively—even by non-specialists—in educational settings.

We’re proud to see our team leading innovative, impactful work that supports connection, growth, and student success.
