We may have said we were heading into break, but we are definitely still staying busy!

As part of the Middle Tennessee Counseling Association leadership team, Dr. Wills just coordinated a wonderful MTCA awards ceremony and gathering, bringing counselors and counselor educators together in celebration and community.

Dr. Gibson had the opportunity to lead a professional development presentation, and Dr. Rollins was recognized with an award for Counselor Advocate — a well-deserved honor!

Even during “break,” we remain committed to supporting the counseling profession, professional growth, and advocacy work across Tennessee. We’re still busy — and grateful for every opportunity to serve, connect, and celebrate with colleagues! Tennessee Counseling Association

The semester is officially over… and the break now begins (at least for a few weeks 😉).

To our students: thank you for your hard work, resilience, late nights, thoughtful discussions, and commitment throughout the semester. We are proud of all you accomplished.

Now it’s time to rest, recharge, and enjoy a well-deserved pause before we do it all again.

See you later! ✨📚☀️

🎊As our year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to proudly recognize Dr. Eva Gibson, our incredible MS in Counseling Program Coordinator.

Dr. Gibson brings a combination of warmth, kindness, and vibrant energy that has made a lasting impact on our program. She leads with heart, passion, and grace, consistently creating an environment where others feel supported, valued, and celebrated. And if you’ve ever seen her in action, you know she does it all while dressed to the nines 👠👗bringing both style and substance to everything she does.

This year has brought many “firsts,” from working with a new team to navigating new facilities and new responsibilities. Through it all, Dr. Gibson has handled everything with poise and resilience, never losing sight of what matters most: lifting others up and building a strong, connected community.

Her genuine care for others and her commitment to celebrating those around her truly set her apart. We are grateful for the leadership and joy she brings to our program each day.

Please join us in celebrating Dr. Gibson and all she has accomplished this year!

We had such a great time participating in the Middle College High School Careers Fair this year! It’s always an honor to connect with such bright, motivated seniors and share more about our profession.

Opportunities like this remind us how important it is to invest in the next generation—answering questions, sharing real-world experiences, and helping students envision their future paths. The engagement, curiosity, and thoughtfulness these students brought to the conversations made the experience truly rewarding.

Thank you for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful event—we’re already looking forward to the next one!
