โญ๏ธKAITIE MCKINNEY with our Why SK Wednesday?!!โญ๏ธ
โAs someone who has always struggled with making big decisions, going Greek and joining Sigma Kappa was by far my easiest one yet! When I first came to Clarksville and APSU in 2019, I didnโt know a single person, and though I never thought of myself as a sorority girl before this, I knew that was what I was meant to do to find my people and make the biggest impact I could on and off campus.
When I first walked into a room full of Sigma Kappaโs, I wasnโt feeling like I had to change who I was in any way, I wasnโt nervous or anything. I felt at home. I felt peace and comfort knowing that I was surrounded by a diverse and service oriented women.
Since joining Sigma Kappa, I have learned to speak up and use my voice, how to communicate as a leader and mentor, as well as improving time management skills and planning events. Not only have I grown in my own chapter, but I have become a leader on and off campus through many other opportunities thanks to Greek life, including helping establish and run our very first Greek Week at APSU as a Director. I have become something my ten-year-old self would have only thought to be a dream. As a Sigma Kappa, I live each day knowing that I am a part of something much bigger than myself, but I do not do life alone. I am surrounded by love and growth with my amazing friends and sisters. Sigma Kappa encourages me to live with heart each day and I will forever represent that. All my love to SK ๐คโ
so much love for you๐๐
