Senior psychology major Isabella Eckert, who is president of Psi Chi, was selected for the Almeda Jacks Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award!

This prestigious honor is presented in recognition of Clemson’s former Vice President for Student Affairs and is awarded to the best “all-around” junior or senior. Davenport Scholars are named in honor of Dr. John Douglas Davenport, a former Department Chair of Psychology at Clemson University.

The Clemson University Institute for Engaged Aging has expanded its office at the University Center of Greenville, marking a new chapter for growth and community engagement. The space features a new phlebotomy lab, a large community area to host events and training opportunities.

The Institute for Engaged Aging is a part of the Department of Psychology in the College of Behavioral, Social and Health Sciences. Established in July 2016, CBSHS is a 21st-century, land-grant college that combines work in nine disciplines – communication; nursing; parks, recreation and tourism management; political science; psychology; public health sciences; sociology, anthropology and criminal justice – to further its mission of “building people and communities” in South Carolina and beyond.
