Finals week is here — you’ve worked hard all semester. Give it your best effort, and make self-care part of your game plan. Remember: you’re more than your grades. 🧡 Focus on your effort and growth — finals are just one part of your Clemson experience!

🌿 Take it outside. Studying outdoors — whether it’s the Amphitheater, a quiet table or your favorite green space — can boost focus, reduce stress and improve mood.

😴 Prioritize sleep. Good rest boosts memory, sharpens focus and improves problem-solving — all essential for exam week. Skip the all-nighters; they actually hurt performance more than they help.

🍎 Nourish your body. Fuel up with balanced meals and stay hydrated to help maintain energy and focus throughout the week.

📅 Study smart. Break tasks into smaller steps, plan your time and limit distractions by setting your phone aside when you need deep focus.

🧘‍♀️ Reset with mindful self-care. Try deep breathing, grounding techniques, body scans or gratitude exercises to reduce stress and improve focus. Even a short walk or 10-minute movement break can boost energy and help you reset. Mindfulness also enhances cognitive function — improving memory, attention and problem-solving — and fits easily into study breaks, walks across campus or quiet moments before an exam.

🧡💜 Take care of yourself this week. You’ve got this! 💪

Happy first day of spring! 🌱

As nature comes back to life, it reflects the beauty of growth and renewal.

Like a butterfly emerging and taking flight, growth unfolds with patience, change and trust – we all bloom in our own time. 🦋🌸

As spring break winds down, remember to take time to reset and care for yourself in small, meaningful ways. 💜

February is American Heart Month ❤️

Your heart works hard for you every day — return the favor. College is a great time to build habits that support heart health, and small, consistent choices can make a big difference now and in the future.

Try these heart-healthy tips:
🏃 Move your body regularly — choose movement you enjoy, whether that’s walking the dikes, working out in Campus Rec facilities or dancing it out with friends
😴 Get enough quality sleep to help your heart and mind recharge
🥗 Choose heart-healthy foods like fruits, veggies, whole grains and lean proteins
💧 Stay hydrated — carry a water bottle with you
🧘 Manage stress with mindfulness, deep breathing, self-care or time outdoors
🚭 Don’t use to***co or v**e products to protect your heart and lungs
🩺 Talk with your health care provider about your heart health and family history
👯 Healthy habits are easier (and more fun) with a friend — grab a workout or cooking buddy

Your future self will thank you! ❤️
