Meet Cole Martin! He is a sophomore from Hernando, Mississippi. He is Instrument Rated and currently working toward his Commercial certificate. Meet Sennett Watkins! He is a junior from Tupelo, Mississippi, and holds his Private Pilot rating. When asked about Alpha Eta Rho, Sennett says, “AHP is a group where you don’t have to weigh the pros and cons of joining—it’s all pros. It’s a way to meet like-minded individuals with similar goals and a desire to achieve our very best in aviation. It’s an investment that gives back more than we could ever imagine, and to me, it’s the best decision I could make while finishing my time at Delta State.”

Meet Our Vice President – Heath Heinz is a senior from Olive Branch, Mississippi, and serves as our Vice President. A Commercial Single- and Multi-Engine pilot with an Instrument rating, he has previously held the roles of Secretary and President. Heath shares, “I love AHP because of how close you become with your classmates—you make lifelong memories and connections. I love serving others, helping new students, and building a strong organization that benefits aviation students at Delta State.”

Meet Our President – Maddox Davis, a senior from Fairhope, Alabama, and a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), serves as our chapter president with a passion for both leadership and aviation. When asked what he loves most about Alpha Eta Rho, Maddox shares, “This organization is much bigger than myself or just something at Delta State. It connects people who love aviation from all over the country and from many generations.” He values the powerful network AHP creates—bringing together aviators who share the same love for flight and a vision that extends far beyond campus.
