Applications are now open for Cleveland Leadership Center’s Accelerate 2022: Citizens Make Change, presented in partnership with Citizens. Accelerate is a civic pitch competition that gives individuals an opportunity to bring their community-focused ideas to life. Anyone with an idea to make Greater Cleveland a better place to work, live, play, or visit can apply. The overall winner receives $5,000 and the remaining five finalists wins $2,000 to help launch their idea. Ideas with a technology component can win additional $3,500 in the Technovation Competition. CCEL’s Fall Social Change Series!
In collaboration with campus and community partners, the Center for Civic Engagement & Learning’s (CCEL) Social Change Series spotlights different forms of civic engagement that contribute to social change, such as community service, advocacy, philanthropy, political involvement, and social responsibility. The CWRU community is invited to join for both hands-on projects and educational events to learn social change tools to apply to causes you care about:
