“Being a part of the Mandel program has been incredible. The program exposed me to so many new experiences, and it has forced me to view life from so many different perspectives that I may not have ever seen. The conversations and experiences I’ve had at Tri-C really helped me grow as a person.” Gabriel, Spring 2017 Graduate, East

Tri-C student Adekunle Popoola came to the U.S from Nigeria in 2014. Since coming to the states, Popoola has accumulated a long list of accolades including becoming a member of the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Scholars Academy, Phi Theta Kappa and the Honors Program, carrying a 3.9 GPA, winning the All-Ohio Academic Scholar Award, the 2016 Frances M. Franklin Scholarship Excellence Award and making dean’s list in both 2015 and 2016. And he isn't stopping there: Popoola will return to Tri-C to receive his Associate of Applied Science in Nursing degree next May and plans to eventually become a nurse practitioner. Good luck Adekunle! http://bit.ly/2pGtecP
