Lin-Manual Miranda's award-winning musical, Hamilton, took the music world by storm with its hip-hop/rap historical fusion. Since then, the 2015 music has gone on to develop critical acclaim–winning 11 Tony awards and grossing almost $700,000 in ticket sales.

In a presentation on Thursday, April 22 at 6 p.m, Dr. Caitlin Kelly, a former SAGES professor and current Naugle Communication Center director at the Georgia Institute of Technology, will be exploring the cultural and historical nuances of the renowned musical. Dr. Kelly taught an entire course on Hamilton here at CWRU and will be returning for a virtual presentation for Sigma Tau Delta Seminar Sessions. All faculty, staff, and students are welcome to come!

The Provost Scholars Program is a partnership between Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) and East Cleveland City Schools. The program matches East Cleveland middle and high school students with

In light of our upcoming *mandatory* STD interest meeting on this Friday, we are highlighting our fantastic president, Monica Hammil!

Monica is a English-Theatre double major whose love for literature is only matched by her love of the stage. Her favorite authors include Jane Austen and she lives by Austen’s quote: ”Let us never underestimate the power of a well-written letter.” Outside of STD, Monica works as a stage-manager, a member of Players' Theatre Group and the fall Leadership Chair for Alpha Phi Omega.

Her interests include her lovable and sometimes rude cat named Set. Yes, he is named after the Egyptian God. Yes, we have provided pictures of the him.

As students begin the fall semester, Sigma Tau Delta would like to invite all English Majors and Minors to a mandatory information session on September 18th, 2020. During this session, we will discuss the International English Honors Society and how to join. This will give students the opportunity to learn what we do as a chapter and meet current members.
