The HEAlthy RelaTionships (HEART) lab focuses on understanding how relationships during childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood shape and impact our behavior. The lab focuses on aggression, victimization, substance use, and delinquent behavior across many relationships, specifically romantic and dating relationships, peer relationships, friendships, and parent-child relationships.

CSU’s Dalton Hundt, McNair Scholar, Publishes Groundbreaking Research

It’s been quite the year for CSU student Dalton Hundt.
The senior psychology major, who also minors in statistics and communication, presented his findings on intimate partner violence (IPV) at CSU Research Day 2024, the McNair Research Conference at the University of New Mexico. His work received high praise and was ultimately published in the MAP Research Journal, contributing valuable insights to the field of psychology.

We have a research study the understand the ways in which LGBT+ adults may be at an increased risk for suicidal ideation. Participation involves a 30 minute online survey.
