I am always blown away when I hear of actual lives being saved by Sigma Alpha Epsilon's philanthropy efforts. I am beyond proud that Province Pi now has 2 chapters that have been able to directly provided life saving donations. Phi Alpha to the donors at both Ohio Nu (Toledo) and Ohio Rho (CWRU) for being heroes and helping save actual lives!
Jacob Egnor first learned about NMDP at the DeVotie Ritual Academy in 2021. What started as curiosity turned into something life-changing.
“The values of the True Gentleman are something I strive to live by every day. To me, donating was simply an extension of those principles. If I can help lift someone up in their most difficult moment, I’d go through the donation process a million times over.”
He encourages every Brother to join the registry, with no pressure and no immediate decisions, just the chance to one day give someone another shot at life.
Through our partnership with the NMDP, SAE continues to embody the values of the True Gentleman by supporting lifesaving work that connects donors and patients in need of a marrow or stem cell transplant.
