🎉 Congratulations to The Rev. Robert Brozina ’83, our 2025 Thomas Aurelius Stallworth ’55 Award recipient!

A Rock Hill native, Rev. Brozina graduated from Presbyterian College in 1983 with a degree in Religion and Christian Education before earning his Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, VA. Since his ordination, he has faithfully served as pastor to four Presbyterian Church (USA) congregations across North and South Carolina and currently leads Rocky Springs Presbyterian Church in Laurens, SC.

Throughout his ministry, Rev. Brozina has devoted his life to preaching, teaching, and offering pastoral care to all of God’s children. His service extends beyond the church, including work with the Raleigh Religious Network for Gay and Le***an Equality, the Lake City Human Relations Commission, and the Ava Gardner Museum Board of Directors. His ministry has also focused deeply on caring for and supporting older adults in the communities he’s served.

Rev. Brozina’s compassion, inclusivity, and lifelong faithfulness to his calling beautifully reflect the heart of PC’s mission and values. 💙

Join us in celebrating Rev. Brozina and all of our award recipients at the Alumni Awards Ceremony on Saturday, October 18th. 👏

🎉 Congratulations to Susan Tallman, our 2025 Honorary Alumna Award recipient!

For more than 29 years, Susan has called Clinton home—pouring her energy, creativity, and generosity into her family and her community. A true jack of all trades, she is known for turning big ideas into reality, whether through her work as a real estate agent with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, her role as a co-founder of M. Judson Booksellers in Greenville, or her tireless service on health boards, church ministries, sports teams, and local organizations.

A two-time breast cancer survivor, Susan is both an inspiration and an inspirational speaker. In 2018, her dedication to service was recognized with the Martha Ann Green Service Award, and she continues to embody the spirit of integrity, compassion, and leadership in all she does. 💙

With Presbyterian College always close to her heart—especially as mom to Brooke Tallman ’21—Susan’s story reflects the very best of the Blue Hose family.

Join us in celebrating Susan and all of our award recipients at the Alumni Awards Ceremony on Saturday, October 18th. 👏

🎉 Congratulations to David Phenix ’85, our 2025 Bob Waters Award recipient!

David is a proud Blue Hose and former offensive tackle under Head Coach Cally Gault. He was also a three-year football letterman who helped lead PC to a strong 7-4-1 season his senior year. Earlier this year, David was inducted into the Lakeside High School Sports Hall of Fame in Atlanta, where he was a standout three-sport athlete.

David graduated with a degree in Business Management and went on to launch a successful sales career, leading his company to national recognition as part of the Inc. Magazine 500. David later shifted his calling to education, where he spent 25 years teaching business, computer science, and special education. He also coached football, golf, and track and field, guiding multiple teams to state playoff and tournament appearances.

David now lives in Loganville, Ga., with his wife of 28 years, Leesa. Together they enjoy life with their three children and two beloved grandchildren. 💙

Join us in celebrating David and all of our award recipients at the Alumni Awards Ceremony on Saturday, October 18th. 👏
