Last month, Hamilton students put their creativity and technical skills to the test during the College's first-ever 24-hour Hackathon, where five teams designed projects focusing on environmental sustainability.
Organized by Soren Lera โ27, Ritchie Registre โ28, and Seth Moore โ27, the Hackathon invited participants to collaborate, build, and present original projects within a single day. Soren says, โWe wanted to give students the chance to apply their theoretical learning in a hands-on project outside of class, and they would have a chance to build something cooler."
Congrats to the inaugural winners, MoveOn, a platform that makes it easier for students to give away unwanted items. Learn how that team leveraged their combined expertise in economics, math, and computer science through the link in our comments.
