San Joaquin College of Law

San Joaquin College of Law A COBE & WASC-accredited law school located midway between LA & San Francisco. Since that time, SJCL graduates have distinguished themselves professionally.

SJCL is the only accredited law school in a 100-mile radius and our graduates go on to pursue a variety of leadership positions locally, nationally and internationally. San Joaquin College of Law (SJCL) was founded in 1969 by a visionary group of San Joaquin Valley judges and attorneys who believed that capable individuals were being denied a quality legal education. Among their alumni ranks are f

ifty-six judges and court commissioners, the Fresno, Kings, and Madera County District Attorneys, the former California Health and Human Services Secretary, the former Deputy Director of the California Environmental Protection Agency, and practitioners in every area of public and private service. Your Bachelor’s Degree in any major qualifies you to apply. In as little as three years, you could be an attorney.

From law school graduates… to attorneys ⚖️

A huge congratulations to Jacqueline Amador-Bryan (JD ’25) and Thalia Enriquez (JD ’25) on passing the California Bar Exam and officially being sworn in as attorneys last month! ✨

This moment represents years of hard work, sacrifice, perseverance, and belief in themselves—even on the days when the finish line felt far away. 🎓

And it represents something bigger, too.

According to the Hispanic National Bar Association, Latinas make up only about 3% of attorneys nationwide.

That's why moments like this matter.

In a profession that still doesn't fully reflect the communities it serves, every new Latina attorney helps create a legal field that is more representative, more accessible, and more inclusive for the next generation. 💙

Jacqueline and Thalia aren't just celebrating a personal milestone. They're helping open doors, expand representation, and show others what's possible.

We're incredibly proud of both of you and can't wait to see the impact you'll make in your clients' lives, our communities, and the legal profession! 🎉

Law school students as soon as summer starts 👟

You made it through the long nights, the case briefs, the stress, the doubts, and every moment that made you dig deep and keep going. Now it’s time to take a break. 💙

Rest without guilt. Sleep in. Go outside. Laugh with people you love. Visit places that remind you how big and beautiful life is beyond deadlines, outlines, and due dates.

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do after giving law school your all is to pause and refill your cup. ☕️

So whether that looks like a weekend getaway, a walk in nature, quality time with family, or simply doing absolutely nothing for a little while—enjoy it because you’ve earned it. ✨

It's graduation day! 🎓

And for graduates like Jagr Alindajao, the moment he's worked toward is finally here.

Some people go to law school to build a career. Others go because they feel called to something bigger than themselves.

Jagr's journey reflects both hard work and heart. 💙

Because earning a JD isn't just about learning the law. It's about learning how to carry responsibility, serve others well, and grow into the kind of person people can trust in difficult moments.

That's what makes this milestone so meaningful. ✨

Jagr's journey is a reminder that success isn't measured only by degrees or your accomplishments. It's also measured by how you use your gifts, your character, and your voice to impact the people around you.

As he crosses the stage today and begins this next chapter, we know he'll continue doing exactly that: leading with purpose, serving others, and making a difference wherever this path takes him.

Congratulations, Jagr. We're proud to celebrate this milestone with you and officially welcome you as a graduate of the SJCL Class of 2026! 🎉

1 more day. 🎓

You made it through the doubts, the challenges, and every moment that tested you. ✨

Tomorrow changes everything because you don’t just graduate.

You step into the next version of yourself.
The one who did what they once thought was impossible.
The one who’s ready to make an impact, lead, and advocate.

Congratulations, Class of 2026. 💙

You didn’t just rise to the challenge. You raised the bar. ⚖️

5 days. 💙

This is it.

In just a few days, the moment you’ve been working toward becomes real.

The long nights, early mornings, and the sacrifices no one saw all lead to you walking across that stage as a law school graduate. ⚖️

We couldn’t be more proud of everything you’ve done to get to this moment and we can’t wait to celebrate with you. 🎉

What once felt so far away… is finally here. 🎓

Congratulations to our Class of 2026 grad, Brittany Mathews, and the journey she took to reach this moment.

Law school has a way of challenging you in every area of your life. It tests your discipline, your patience, your confidence, and your ability to keep showing up even when you’re exhausted or uncertain.

But somewhere along the way, it also teaches you something powerful about yourself: that you’re capable of more than you thought. ✨

And for many students, one of the biggest lessons law school teaches isn’t just perseverance—it’s the importance of having people in your corner. 💙

The family members who support you through the chaos.
The spouse who listens to your stress after long days.
The friends and classmates who help you laugh, study, vent, and keep going when the pressure feels heavy.

Brittany’s journey is a reminder that behind every graduate is often a village that believed in them through every stressful exam, moment of doubt, and small victory along the way.

And now, all of it has led here. ⚖️

We’re so proud of you, Brittany, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for you as part of the SJCL Class of 2026! 💫

10 days. ⚖️

It's the final stretch.

In just a few days, you’ll walk across that stage, get your JD, and step into everything you’ve been working toward. 🎓

And you’re more ready than you think.

Ready because of the work you’ve put in.
Ready because of the challenges you’ve already overcome.
Ready because you didn’t quit over the years when it got hard.

So finish this last stretch the same way you’ve shown up all along: Focused. Determined. Unstoppable.

We can’t wait to celebrate you, Class of 2026! ✨

15 days. 💫

Right now, it might feel like a blur—finals, deadlines, and everything wrapping up all at once.

But don’t rush past this moment.

Because one day, you’ll look back and realize these were the last days of something that changed you forever.

The last late nights.
The last study sessions.
The last time walking into class as a law student.

So take a second to appreciate how far you’ve come. Because this chapter is closing soon...and you'll be on to the next one. 💙

Thinking about law school, but not sure what your future could actually look like? 👀

You’re not alone.

Some of the biggest questions we hear is:

“Is it really worth it?”
“What can I even do with a law degree?”
“How can I balance life and law school?”

That’s why we’re bringing together a panel of SJCL alumni who’ve turned their law degrees into successful careers—right here in our community. ⚖️

➡️ SWIPE to meet the panelists + get inspired to make your next move!

As a reminder 👇

Not every lawyer grows up seeing someone who looks like them in a courtroom.

Not everyone has a roadmap, connections, or a clear “next step.”

And if that’s you? You’re not behind. You’re just building something different. ⚖️

The truth is—most people who end up in law didn’t start with certainty. They started with a feeling. A pull. Thinking “what if I actually did this?”

And then they kept going anyway. 🤍

They went on to pass the Bar exam.
They started law firms.
They argued important cases.
They built their family.
And they rewrote what a lawyer is supposed to look like.

Because the legal field doesn’t need more of the same. It needs people who think different, come from different places, and care about making an impact in their own way.

So if you’ve been questioning whether this path is for you…this is your reminder that it can be. 💙

Register for our upcoming ✨Alumni Career Panel on Thursday, May 21 at 6pm✨ and hear from graduates who once had the same doubts, questions, and “what ifs”—and decided to go for it anyway.

Come ask your questions, hear their stories, and start picturing what this path could look like for you. 🔗
