Who wants to play front stage at Schuler theatre?! (me, but also who else?)

MUSP 102 – Cardinal Voices: Commercial Music Ensemble is just two musicians away from putting the band together for a rocking fall semester.

And despite the name, Cardinal Voices is NOT a traditional choir. It’s NIC’s contemporary rock/pop ensemble—a chance to sing, play guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, or another instrument while rehearsing and performing as an actual band.

The highlight? Taking the stage in Boswell Hall for a live performance. Because sometimes college should involve amplifiers, stage lights, and a little less sitting behind a desk. 😎

Will this launch your sold-out arena tour? Lets find out together.
Will you get to spend the semester making music, playing in a band, and performing on stage? That I know it you absolutely do.

🎸 Ever wanted to be in a rock band? Here's your chance. 🎤
What if one of your college classes put you on stage instead of behind a desk?
MUSP 102 – Cardinal Voices: Commercial Music Ensemble isn't your typical music class. Despite the name, this isn't a traditional choir—it's NIC's commercial music ensemble where students come together to form a contemporary rock/pop band, rehearse, collaborate, and perform live.
Whether you sing, play guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, or another instrument, this is your chance to join fellow musicians, sharpen your skills, and experience what it's like to be part of a real performing band.
Will it make you a rock star? We can't promise the sold-out arena or world tour... but we can promise a semester of making great music with great people.
