Our nursing students supporting National Wear Red Day where we Go Red for Women to bring attention women and ❤️ disease.

Did you know cardiovascular disease is the number 1 cause of death in women, causing 1 in 3 deaths each year?!

That's a third of our mothers, daughters, sisters, friends and neighbors we can't bear to live without!

The Sallee Family, including local sensation ❄️Hayden Sallee❄️, came to talk to our students today about Spina Bifida.

Spina Bifida is a type of birth defect where the neural tube does not develop or close properly. It is commonly known as the "Snowflake" condition because no two cases are the same.

We appreciate you all taking the time to come and speak with us about Hayden and teach us about Spina Bifida! We greatly appreciate you!!

Our nursing students have been busy this fall! Aside from maintaining a blistering pace in class and clinical, they have been been engaged in the community! They gave flu shots for college students and staff and helped with Coffeyville Regional Medical Center's annual associate health fair.
