Im Dezember veranstalteten der AATG Maryland/DC Metro Verband und die German Studies an der UMD eine Fortbildung für Deutschlehrkräfte an Schulen und Hochschulen. Diese Präsenzfortbildung findet am Samstag, den 7. Dezember 2024 von 9 bis 15 Uhr an der University of Maryland statt.

Das Thema der diesjährigen Fortbildung ist DACH-L Kultur im Sprachunterricht. In dieser Fortbildung geht es um die Vermittlung der Kultur des deutschsprachigen Raumes mithilfe verschiedener Strategien und durch Filme, Musik, Märchen und Kinderbücher. Die Fortbildung wird auf Deutsch abgehalten.
