Hello friends! Hope everyone is staying healthy and safe during these trying times. If anyone needs someone to talk to about anything going on, feel free to message us. We are here to help and support! :)

On a brighter note: We wanted to let you know that Executive Board positions available!!!

Applications are open until WEDNESDAY, May 6th at midnight, with notification of decisions (via email) coming Friday May 8th.

A little bit about us - We are a small, close-knit group of creative humans expressing ourselves and our passions through graphic design! With over 68 chapters and 200 student groups, our chapter serves to connect students to professional designers and help build long-lasting connections with the student designers who will grow alongside you (insider tip: did we mention that it’s also a GREAT resume builder?)

TONIGHT we are so excited to host Matt Laumann, a member of UMD's design team at Strategic Communications — they're behind our very own UMD Terp Magazine, Maryland Day, and so many other graphics you're probably very familiar with!

We'll be hearing about his work at 6pm in ASY 2322 — and also EATING TACOS. Yes, tacos. You're going to want to stop by :)

Check out this opportunity to create a design for an Earth Day contest on campus! UMD SGA's Sustainability Committee and SustainableUMD are hosting the UMD Earth Day Festival 2019 and your work could be displayed! See the prompt below:

What does environmental justice mean to you? Submit a piece of visual art that communicates the importance of inclusion and community in environmentalism. Winner, first runner-up and second runner-up will win a prize and have their art displayed at UMD's annual Earth Day festival.
