Public Health Beyond Borders UMD

Public Health Beyond Borders UMD Public Health Beyond Borders (PHBB) is a new and growing organization started at UMD as a partner organization to Engineers without Borders on campus.

Public Health Beyond Borders is a globally minded group of students aiming to foster a universal community by educating and serving underrepresented countries. As a social organization, our foundations are in the School of Public Health and we collaborate with UMD’s chapter of Engineers Without Borders to create public health interventions alongside their projects to further the well-being of the

community and sustainability of the engineering project. Through our education projects we hope to reduce health disparities all around the world and to increase awareness about good health.
