The National Residence Hall Honorary has been described as “an honorary organization dedicated to recognizing those residents who have committed personal time and effort to make their college experiences more meaningful by participating in hall related activities. Membership is comprised of the top 1% of all undergraduate and graduate students living on campus. Residents are selected for membershi

p based on academic achievement, service in the residence halls, strong character, and leadership potential. NRHH honors those individuals who have contributed outstanding service and leadership for the advancement of the residence hall system. NRHH strives for the betterment of the residence hall system and provides a means by which members may recognize outstanding past and present contributions to the residence hall system. The organization participates in at least one service project per month and looks to benefit the on campus population as well. NRHH is the vehicle for campus, regional and national recognition for outstanding leadership, programming, service, and community in the residence hall community. Through various small scale recognition efforts and facilitation of the Of-the-Month (OTM) Awards, NRHH seeks to recognize excellence in the residence halls at Texas A&M University. Dan Mizer and informed him of his new title of official chapter namesake! Mizer has been involved with Residence Life and NRHH for a number of years, but now he'll be remembered for years to come in the Texas A&M Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary. New Members are inducted each semester after a process of nomination, application, and point collection throughout the semester. The induction ceremony typically coincides with a celebratory banquet in which all NRHH members and new inductees are involved.
