Research facilities include two research reactors – Texas A&M is the only university to own two –, seven accelerators (including a unique micro-beam device for determining the response to ionizing radiation on a cell-by-cell basis), a high-energy pulsed plasma laboratory, a heat transfer lab, and many other state-of-the-art facilities.
