Thank you to everyone who participated in Texas A&M Water Day 2025!

Hosted by the Water Management & Hydrological Science Program and the Texas Water Resources Institute, this annual event brings together students and faculty researching water from throughout campus. Graduate and undergraduate students presented research posters on some of the world's most critically important water problems and competed for scholarship funds in the poster contest.

The poster session was followed by fascinating lectures on “Climate Change and Food Energy Water Nexus: An Exploration in Edwards Aquifer Region, Texas” by Nobel Laureate Dr. Bruce McCarl, Regents Professor and University Distinguished Professor, and Dr. Chengcheng Fei, Assistant Professor, Department of Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M University. The closing lecture: “Flowing Together: Texas Water. Needs. Everyone.” was delivered by Texas A&M’s Outstanding Early Career Alumni Dr. Matthew Berg, CEO & Principal Scientist, Simfero Consultants.

Congratulations to the poster contest winners, and you can view their posters at the end of this album:

1st place - Chinmay Chavan
2nd place - Harrison Coker
3rd place - Dallas Williams
