Aggies Impact Policy

Texas A&M University’s Agricultural & Natural Resources Policy (ANRP) Internship Program is one of the premier leadership opportunities. It allows students in the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences to complete Ag & natural resource policy-related internships at the state, national, and international level. Since its founding in the spring of 1990, the program boasts over 900 alumni that have obtained an important and rare education - an understanding of the policy-making process that affects the Ag & natural resource industries.

Interns in the Washington, D.C. program are placed in either a Congressional office with a member of the Texas delegation, the House Committee on Agriculture, or an Ag-policy related organization during all academic terms (fall, spring, and summer). Participants in the Austin, Texas program intern in state-level offices during each Texas legislative session. Our Rome program offers students the change to intern with the Food & Agricultural Organization (FAO) of the United Nations during all academic terms (fall, spring, & summer).

ANRP welcomes Aggies from all academic departments within the College of Ag & Life Sciences at Texas A&M University . Undergraduate and graduate-level students are encouraged to apply.
