Here in the Kleberg Advising Hub we strive to provide the highest quality academic, career, and professional advising to students interested in studying animal science, poultry science, biochemistry, genetics, forensics, entomology, nutrition, or food science at Texas A&M University. We provide advising on academic issues including course selection, registration, degree progression, and withdrawal

It has been a week of excitement for the advisors in the Kleberg Advising Hub as we have learned we have award winners in our group! Congratulations to Callan Gearner and Carissa Beamon!!

Callan Gearner is the recipient of the New Advisor Award. Callan has been such an asset to the Kleberg Hub and to COALS Advising as a whole over the past months, truly shining in her role as an academic advisor, demonstrating her competency and dedication to our field while creating lasting and meaningful relationships with the students she services. Congratulations Callan! A well deserved award for a compassionate, caring, and dedicated advisor.

Carissa Beamon is the recipient of two academic advising awards this year: Excellence in Graduate Advising and President’s Award for Academic Advising. Her expertise and skillset in both graduate and undergraduate advising has been and will continue to be a major asset to our team. Congratulations Carissa! A well-deserved award for a truly dedicated higher education professional, student advocate, and leader.
