Aggieland is getting a little more egg-citing this week as we welcome the Texas 4-H Poultry Ambassadors! 🥚

We are excited to have the 2026-2027 Texas 4-H Poultry Ambassador cohort in town this week for their short course training.

Throughout the week, these outstanding 4-H members will build their leadership skills, connect with poultry industry professionals, explore career and education opportunities, and gain hands-on experience in topics like embryology, live bird evaluation, food safety, poultry health, consumer science, media training and more!

Today, ambassadors met with JC Essler, Executive Vice President of the Texas Poultry Federation, and Jason Mooney, Director of Warehousing for H-E-B.

Be sure to follow along with us and TYLA this week as we share highlights from their action-packed week in Aggieland!

Every flock has one.

🔨 The dad who says, “I can fix that,” before making three trips to the hardware store.
🌱 The dad who treats mowing lines like an Olympic event.
🔥 The dad who guards the grill like national security.
🛞 The dad who knows what every weird engine noise means.
💻 The dad who fixes the Wi-Fi but still types with one finger.
🎣 And the dad whose fishing story has gained 6 pounds and 2 feet since last Father’s Day.

Happy Father’s Day to the top roosters of every flock. 🐓 We hope your day is egg-stra special and full of absolutely no one touching the thermostat.

This was either a brave choice or a big mistake. You decide. 😅

Want to help us bring 250 youth campers to Aggieland for an unforgettable poultry judging experience?
Sponsorship opportunities are available for the 2026 Texas A&M Poultry Judging Camp, the largest poultry judging camp in the nation.
Each summer, we welcome youth campers from across the country for hands-on education, judging experience, and the opportunity to learn from our national champion judging program.
Sponsors play a vital role in helping provide the necessary tools, housing, transportation, meals, and activities, all while helping create an authentic Aggie experience for the next generation of poultry leaders. 👍🏽
Ready to support camp? Donations can be made online at: 🔗 tx.ag/campsponsor
🚨 If you would like your company logo featured on camp merchandise, please email your logo to Brylee Williams at [email protected] by June 26.
