Delta Epsilon Psi Fraternity, Inc. - Gamma Chapter http://www.depsigamma.org/ The Gamma Chapter is located at Texas A&M University. It started with nine impressive individuals that had a dream in mind.

As a South Asian Brotherhood, Delta Epsilon Psi takes pride in its diverse cultures and promotes its philanthropy through volunteer service and leadership within the surrounding community. It was the fourth chapter started after Houston, Dallas, and Austin on May 20, 2001. They all looked forward to embracing the three major principals that adhere to Delta Epsilon Psi: brotherhood, discipline, and

commitment. After being inducted into the Multicultural Greek Council the Gamma Chapter strengthened its influence across the Texas A&M University campus, by recruiting exceptional individuals into this fraternity. The members of the Gamma Chapter have become distinguished leaders in other organizations such as the Multicultural Greek Council, Student Government Assoication, Indian Students Association, Pakistani Student Association, and Orthodox Students Association just to name a few. Currently, we have twenty two established classes and are always looking for individuals who want to make an impact, not only in the South Asian community, but across the Texas A&M campus.

This week our chapter was shaken up over the tragic loss of one of our own.
Ammar Tariq was a man that received only the kindest and most loving of praises from his friends, brothers, and loved ones. And rightfully so, for he was truly altruistic with everyone he met and our time in his presence was short lived.
We kindly ask that you take the consideration of donating to help his family through this most grievous of times and to have Ammar in your prayers.

You were an incredibly humble and kind person. You were unwavering in your commitment to Brotherhood. You were one of the most loyal and reliable friends any person could ever have. Ammar devoted himself to the service of humanity in all of his actions. Driven by his life experiences and his faith, he went to school to educate himself and gain a perspective of the world so that he could go out and make a difference. Despite the hardships in life he faced, he never focused on his own material gain. Everything he had, he tried to give back to others. This is our eternal memory of you, Ammar. Though you may no longer be physically among us, the impact you made in the lives of everyone who ever knew you will keep your spirit alive forever, and will give all of your loved ones courage to carry on in your absence.

Being the first Solo line to ever cross at Gamma Chapter you continued to impress us with the amount of heart and effort you poured into embodying the pillars that we hold essential; that of BROTHERHOOD, DISCIPLINE, and COMMITMENT.
Being a Solo doesn't mean that you were the only one to start out this process, but rather that you were the only one to make the final cut and prove worthy of being a brother.
