As Maroon & White Night slows down for the summer, we want to give a big shoutout to St. Joseph Health!

For more than a year, their title sponsorship of Maroon & White Night helped make each event possible. On behalf of the Texas A&M faculty, staff and retirees who enjoyed concerts, conversations, food, drinks and more on the third Friday of each month, thank you St. Joseph Health for your support!

While there won't be a large activity or spotlighted organization this month, food and drink specials are still on tap this Friday for Maroon & White Night. And stay tuned for announcements about a semester kick-off event in August!

VOLUNTEER MINUTE – Peacock in the Park

Join Peacock to host a family fun event for single moms and their children at Tanglewood Park on Saturday, June 20 from 11a-1p. Volunteers will give away books and diapers as well as help with games and activities.

VOLUNTEER MINUTE - Teacher Closet Donation Day

Join us on Saturday, May 30 from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM as we work to restock supplies for local educators. We’re looking for volunteers to help receive donations, carry items inside, sort school supplies, and organize materials.

Your time and support help get needed classroom resources into the hands of teachers and students in our community.

VOLUNTEER MINUTE - Hearne Crossroads Festival

Work with the United Way of the Brazos Valley to hand out free books to attendees!

The outdoor festival will be held on Saturday, June 6th, 2026, from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Volunteers should arrive15 minutes early for their shift to find parking and find the booth. Several volunteers are needed to help set up, hand out free books, and to clean up when we are done.
