Join us on Saturday, May 30 from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM as we work to restock supplies for local educators. Weโ€™re looking for volunteers to help receive donations, carry items inside, sort school supplies, and organize materials.

Your time and support help get needed classroom resources into the hands of teachers and students in our community.

VOLUNTEER MINUTE - Hearne Crossroads Festival

Work with the United Way of the Brazos Valley to hand out free books to attendees!

The outdoor festival will be held on Saturday, June 6th, 2026, from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Volunteers should arrive15 minutes early for their shift to find parking and find the booth. Several volunteers are needed to help set up, hand out free books, and to clean up when we are done.

VOLUNTEER MINUTE - Sneaker Soiree

The Sneaker Soiree is a night full of your best sneakers, cute dresses/slacks, and some good 90's music all benefiting the United Way of the Brazos Valley.

The event will be held on June 12th, 2026, at the Kimbell event center located at 607 N Main St. in Bryan, TX. The Sneaker Soiree will start at 6:00pm and go until 8:30pm.

They are seeking volunteers to assist with welcoming guests, setting up tables, taking payments for ticket sales, and cleaning up after the event.

This is a cocktail attire event for guests, so volunteers are asked to dress nicely.

Full event details will be emailed to volunteers ahead of time.

VOLUNTEER MINUTE - Maroon & White Fun Run

Volunteer opportunities for next week!

The 2026 Maroon and White Fun Run race committee is seeking volunteers from Wednesday, May 13, through race day on Sunday, May 17. Bring along family and friends to share in the fun. If you have any questions, email [email protected].

The Maroon and White Fun Run is a fundraising event, and the net proceeds will go to support the Staff Emergency Fund, an account held at the Texas A&M Foundation. Created to help members of the Aggie Family in need, the Staff Emergency Fund provides limited financial assistance to Texas A&M staff members experiencing a temporary hardship due to a significant life event.
