This past Friday, S-2 conducted our annual Outfit banquet, a culmination of all the hard work the outfit put in throughout the year.

S-2 also recognized our class of 1976, and Mr. Robert Urban ‘76 served as our guest speaker.

Marauders traded stories and reflected on the past year while also announcing next year’s leadership.

A special thanks to all the Alumni, family, and supporters for coming out and supporting the outfit!

⚓️ SENIOR SPOTLIGHT ⚓️

Howdy, Marauders! Meet Mr. Nikolas Niño, a Kinesiology (Pre-Optometry) major from San Antonio, Texas. During his time in the Corps, he has served as the S-2 Guidon and now leads the 7th Battalion as its Commander.

This past summer, he completed Marine Corps Officer Candidate School and hopes to commission as a logistics officer.

Outside the Corps, he enjoys the outdoors, including scuba diving, hunting, fishing, and even skydiving. You can usually find him staying active—probably running.

Through it all, Mr. Niño has learned that real growth starts with faith in God and is built by choosing to show up—especially when it’s uncomfortable—not just for himself, but for the people around him.

Focused on getting better every day, staying grounded in his faith, and being someone others can rely on when it matters most, Mr. Niño embodies what it means to lead with purpose.

On Saturday, S-2 & the rest of Corps of Cadets marched Final Review—marking the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

⚓️ SENIOR SPOTLIGHT ⚓️

Howdy, Marauders! Today’s senior spotlight is Mr. Eads, a senior Anthropology major from Auburn, Indiana.

In his free time, he enjoys lifting, running, and dancing. After graduation, Mr. Eads plans to attend graduate school in Maritime studies at East Carolina University.

Throughout his time in the corps, Mr. Eads learned to trust in God, follow his passions, you ALWAYS have a choice in your descisions, and love his people and look out for their interests above all else.
