This hurricane season, the Gulf Coast is becoming a hands-on learning environment for future weather scientists.
Dr. Dae Seok Chai of Department of Educational Administration & Human Resource Development is exploring how fieldwork can strengthen STEM career readiness. In collaboration with Florida State University, meteorology students will use mobile radar to study coastal weather while Chai examines which parts of the experience have the greatest impact.
