TAMU Center for Translational Research in Aging & Longevity

TAMU Center for Translational Research in Aging & Longevity We are a research group interested in nutrition & exercise for older adults at Texas A&M University! Importantly, proteins are the building blocks of muscles.

The Center for Translational Research in Aging and Longevity is engaged on ongoing clinical translational research on nutrition, exercise, and metabolism in relation to aging and the common diseases of our aging population. The research studies we do are nutrition studies in which we examine the effects of protein meals on the buildup and breakdown of proteins in the body. Often we also assess bod

y composition and muscle function. Our goal is to improve the overall physical condition and quality of life of older adults. To see whether you qualify for one of our research projects, please have a closer look at the information below. For all our studies compensation is provided according to time and effort. For more information or if you would like to know whether you qualify, please call at 979-422-1789 or email us at [email protected].
