At Texas A&M, you're more than a student; you're part of a community. 🏡

After Andrew Plucker's family relocated to College Station, they quickly discovered that what makes Aggieland special is people who genuinely care. As he embarks on the next part of his career, he will carry with him the skills and community he gained during his time here.

“You’re only as good as what you put in and what you leave behind.” 🤝

This mindset is what took Constantine “Dean” Liollio ’83 all over the Southeast and eventually led him back to Aggieland. Since his return, he has served on the Wm Michael Barnes '64 Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering Advisory Council and established a fellowship. Most recently, he established an endowed chair to help the department recruit top faculty.

He is grateful for the doors Texas A&M has opened for him and for the opportunity to give back and help future Aggies. ❤️👍

College is an exciting time, but it can also bring stress, loneliness and feelings of isolation.

Texas A&M Engineering researchers are working to help students build stronger connections and prioritize their mental well-being through The Connection Project, an evidence-based initiative designed to combat social disconnection.

Through a 10-week pilot program for first-year engineering students, researchers hope to reduce loneliness, depression and stress while strengthening students’ sense of belonging. ❤️

"We want students to be great engineers. But we also want them to become great global citizens." 🌍❤️

Raymond '87 and Rhonda Pittard are helping Aggie engineers develop the skills and experiences they'll need to lead in an increasingly connected world.

Their generosity is opening doors for students through study abroad, leadership development and entrepreneurship programs, preparing future engineers to make an impact both locally and globally. 👍
