Beginning of event volunteer positions:
​- Unloading equipment
​- Setting up tables and chairs
​- Setting up food and drink table
​- Packaging and serving food (must have a Texas Food Handlers License)

End of event volunteer positions:
​- Continue serving food (must have a Texas Food Handlers License)
​- Clean up food area
​- Tearing down equipment

Interested in helping TAMU host “greener,” more sustainable events?

This part-time, paid internship is your opportunity to gain valuable experience in sustainable event management. The position will require a commitment of 4 hours per week on average (at $12/hour) and is open to undergraduate students at Texas A&M; PEMC students and/or RPTS majors preferred. Applicants should be available to work both Fall 2021 and Spring 2022; selected students will earn up to $500 per semester.

The initial focus will be on events hosted by the RPTS department, in the latter half of the Spring 2022 semester, emphasis will be on best-practice recommendations for TAMU student organizations and other TAMU units.

Check out the project entitled, "Innovation for Sustainability: Outlining Opportunities to Transition Texas A&M to Carbon Neutrality,” and apply through the Innovation X site by JULY 19.

Please join us for a presentation and discussion on diversity hosted by the RPTS department and RPTS 321 on March 26, 2021 from 1-3pm. There will be speakers, a short documentary clip, discussion groups, and a drawing for prizes at the end of the event. Everyone who attends the event will be entered into the drawing.
