Thank you to the community for the support you gave to PPRPOM last night at the ball! Whether you attended the event or joined in for the silent auction we are thankful for your continued assistance in helping maintain the memorial to our fallen and assisting their families.

The evening started off with amazing bluegrass music from Tenderfoot Bluegrass Band. Thank you for your continued support guys! Meanwhile Whistle Pig Brewing and South Park Brewing kept the blue "solo" cups full of Colorado handcrafted beers including Whistle Pig's Last Call Lager specially brewed for PPRPOM. Cheers Liquor Mart made sure that the wine glasses were topped up with a variety of wines.

Kat Naranjo gracefully started off the main program along with the honor guard for the flag presentation and invocation for the evening from Father Sterns. John Sand, our auctioneer, got the live auction going with the attendees bidding on some amazing items including a beautiful quilt made by the Sewing Angels, fi****ms donated A. Cain, and a stunning diamond necklace donated by Johannes Hunter Jewelry. Attendees then moved to the dance floor and danced the night away thanks to DJ Jeff Zaiger and bid on over 200 silent auction items curated and donated by many small businesses and supporters along the Front Range and beyond. Thank you to the CSU volunteers who helped us make sure checkout ran smoothly. Thank you for those of you who donated back your baskets!

The event was a resounding success and a testament to the incredible support in the community. The Board of Directors and Event Committee members wish to express their gratitude for the continued support of PPRPOM as well as to thank the volunteers who stepped in to help make the event possible. In remembrance of our fallen officers, thank you.

The annual Memorial Ball is fast approaching! It's on May 16, only two weeks from this Saturday! We are lining up an amazing set of items for the live and silent auctions and will be publishing details soon.

Tickets are available from the event site (https://memorial2026.givesmart.com/). When you do so, you'll have the opportunity to purchase a dog tag that honors the 36 Peace Officers who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the Pikes Peak Region. But there's only a limited number of them so make sure you buy yours now.

As you approach the memorial, the walkway is lined with pavers, each with a message memorializing our fallen and supporting our law enforcement community. Our hope is to ensure that each of our fallen officers has a dedicated paver. With the help of community partners and families of the fallen we take a step closer to reaching this goal each year.

With much gratitude, we wish to thank those who helped us with this year's pavers:

Fraternal Order of Police Colorado Lodge #9 - Deputy Jeff Hopkins and Deputy Andrew Peery (2 pavers)
Teller County Sheriff's Office - Deputy Brent Holloway
The Augustus Perreira family - CSPD Officer Augustus Perreira
UCHealth - FBI Special Agent Jack Coler
Colorado Springs Police Foundation - Detective Sergeant George Kaltenberger
CommonSpirit Health - CSPD Officer John Rowan
Rampart Plumbing & Supply - Goldfield Marshall Augustine Cate

We remain steadfast in our support of the fallen and their families. Although you can choose to memorialize any of our community's fallen officers, please consider helping us memorialize one of the fallen officers who does not yet have a paver. If you wish to purchase a paver or have any questions, please let us know.
