Today, Dr. Karin Larkin led the Senior Seminar class on a Tuberculosis tour of campus. The UCCS campus location was originally a sanitorium for tuberculosis treatment. Main Hall was one of the early buildings where people came to recover from the illness. She also showed an old storage area, what's left of early buildings/cabins that were living quarters, a potential old speakeasy, mile markers along a recovery hike trail, and more!
